Indication:

• Prevention of uric acid crystallisation in gout therapy and uric acid stones (kidney stones).
• For relieving discomfort in mild urinary tract infections and symptomatic relief of painful dysuria.

Dosage and Directions For Use:

• 4g to 8g (1 to 2 sachets) dissolved in cold water four times daily.

Ingredients:

• Sodium bicarbonate 1760mg
• Sodium citrate anhydrous 630mg
• Citric acid anhydrous 720mg
• Tartaric acid 890mg
• Lime flavour

Cautions:

• Avoid use in renal failure or hypernatremia.
• Caution is advised in overt and occult cardiac failure.
• Concomitant use of urinary alkalinisers and quinolone antibiotics should be avoided because crystalluria may be more likely to occur in alkaline urine.
• Those on a low sodium diet should take into account of the sodium content (650mg per sachet) of this product.
